AC Shadows Introduces Bizarre AoT Event for Holiday Season
In a unexpected crossover event that breaks usual forecasts, Ubisoft has announced an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Mission Uncovered
According to the official release, "A mysterious confrontation leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where rumors of banned ceremonies and monstrous transformations echo through the shadows." The storyline introduces a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a clandestine cult.
The mission concentrates on "bizarre experiments and a terrifying foe" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Locations and Transformations
The trailer features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer ends with a dramatic moment showing a character, probably the hostage, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who successfully complete the adventure will obtain an special katana together with numerous artifacts secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
